How to Quarry
Quarrying and mining are the same thing in this game, and it’s the bread and butter of gaining necessary resources throughout your time with the game. To Quarry, you’ll need an iron pickaxe, which gain be crafted at your work table.
Initially, players will need an iron pickaxe to break large rocks and gain resources from them, but if you upgrade your attack stat enough with skill points, you will eventually just need a basic pickaxe.
Simply go up to a rock in the world, and hit it with your pickaxe until it breaks and gives you resources. Be aware, however, that breaking rocks will use stamina, so make sure you have enough before you start chipping away.
There is a list of useful skills that help make quarrying more efficient.
- Mastery of Pickaxe– Stamina cost decreases by 25% to 50% when using a pickaxe
- Advanced Mining– Increase the chance of doubling drops when mining
- Power Up– Maximum Stamina increase
- Artisan– Reduce the material cost when crafting at the worktable
- Expert Electrician– Increase the damage of the drill and chainsaw
Locations
Players can Quarry anywhere in the world they see rocks to break. However, the best place to mine for resources is in the mine itself, which costs 80 gold per day to visit. Here is where you can find rare materials and even data discs, which are used for getting new blueprints.
