Can You Dance & Emote in Battlefield V Firestorm? Answered

Recommended Videos

The base game released at the end of 2018 but Battlefield V is now introducing a new battle royale game into the mix. Firestorm is a great mix of what you’d expect from the battle royale genre and classic Battlefield gameplay. Here’s what you need to know on if you can dance or emote in Battlefield V Firestorm.

In other hugely popular battle royale games, emotes are very important features. The dances that you can do in Fortnite have become so well known over the last year that people have even tried to sue Epic for the use of them.

Emotes are usually used for little more than taunting opponents or as a way of communicating with your friends. Since Battlefield V Firestorm will have a focus in parts on squad play, it would be good to have a way to communicate that’s not simple voice chat.

Unfortunately, there is no way to dance or emote in Battlefield V Firestorm. While that might be frustrating for some players, it makes some sense.

The Battlefield games tend to be quite serious, large-scale war-focused affairs, so it would look a little silly to have characters flossing in the middle of a war-torn town. After all, Firestorm does not have the cartoony aesthetic of Fortnite Battle Royale.

Of course, there is always a chance that Criterion and DICE will add the feature in at a later date if enough people ask for it. I wouldn’t hold your breath, but we will let you know if they ever do.

That’s everything you need to know about if you can dance or emote in Battlefield V Firestorm. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to check out our Firestorm wiki guide or search for Twinfinite.
