Here’s how to level up fast in Division 2.
Accolade Perks – How to Level Up Fast in Division 2
There are a ton of different perks in the game, but if your main focus is to level up fast in Division 2, you’ll want to focus all of your resources on unlocking the Accolade perks.
There are a number of perks within this ‘tree,’ so to speak, that will significantly speed up the rate at which you level up in Division 2. We’ve listed all of these down below, so you can see just how useful they can be.
Headshot Accolade | Headshot kills award XP bonus |
Multi-Kill Accolade | Killing multiple enemies at the same time grant an XP bonus |
Weakpoints Accolade | Kills triggered by destroying weakpoints give an XP bonus |

Collectibles – How to Level Up Fast in Division 2
The open world of The Division 2 has a ton of different things for you to check out and pick up along the way. One thing you’ll definitely want to keep an eye out for, however, are the collectibles littered around the world. In particular, keep an eye out on your mini-map in the top-left corner of the screen for cell phone icons and other unusual icons.
These indicate that a collectible is nearby which can help you level up fast in Division 2. While cell phones will only net you 40XP (every little bit helps), any electronic tapes you find will give you a huge 800XP boost. Collectibles are a low-key way to level up fast in Division 2, especially when they’re so easy to find on your way to and from missions.
Playing with Others
You may find some places online suggesting that the best way to level up fast in Division 2 is to play solo. This simply isn’t the case. By playing with others, The Division 2 actually grants you an XP boost, making up for any enemies you don’t end up killing yourself.
It’s worth noting, however, that when playing with others, the game does ramp up the difficulty, and all enemies will be scaled to the highest-leveled member in your party. As long as you’re not averse to a bit of challenge, though, playing with others is the best possible way to help you level up fast.
Side Missions
The Division 2’s main missions grant the best amounts of XP for you to level up fast, but that doesn’t mean you should completely ignore side missions. There are a ton of side missions, marked by little blue icons (as pictured above) for you to complete in The Division 2, many of which grant at least 1,000 XP.
These are a great supplement to your XP grind in The Division 2 and can help you to level up fast with relative ease. Not to mention, it’s a fun activity to complete if you want to take a break from the main mission grind, so be sure to check these out.
Settlement Projects – How to Level Up Fast in Division 2
Settlement Projects have largely been overlooked as a means of nabbing yourself some easy XP and leveling up fast in Division 2. These can be found, unsurprisingly, at any settlements you find in the game, and often require you to simply donate some old gear or materials and take care of a small group of hostiles.
They don’t grant quite as much XP as the other methods we’ve listed above to help you level up fast in Division 2, but at over 500 XP a pop, they’re certainly not something to snub, especially if you’re on that final grind to level 30.
There you have the best ways to level up fast in Division 2. We’ll be updating this post if we spot any additional ways to help you on your grind to level 30 in The Division 2. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our ever-expanding Division 2 guide wiki.
