The trailer provides a look at the gameplay, mostly focusing on exploration and battle, with a glimpse of multiplayer.

At the end, we also take a look at the cutscenes that narrate the game’s story, which is actually pretty good for a Sword Art Online game.

If you’re not familiar with Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization, it was originally released for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in 2016, with a western release in the same year. A PC version was launched worldwide on October 27th, 2017.

Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Deluxe Edition will be released in Japan for Nintendo Switch on April 25, and it’ll include both the main game and all of its original DLC.

This is not the only SAO game coming to Switch, as Fatal Bullet will also be released at some point later this year, bringing fans on Nintendo Console to the sci-fi setting of Gun Gale Online.

A western release date has not been announced yet, but we do know that it’s coming in the summer of 2019.
