Since Tetris Effect released late last year, the game has received near universal praise, including an Exemplary rating here at Twinfinite. In response to this high praise, the Tetris Effect Weekend Trial Demo is returning this weekend from Feb. 8 to Feb. 11.

The demo includes three of the 27 total stages in the game’s Journey Mode as well as two game modes, Marathon Mode and Mystery Mode. Marathon Mode challenges the player to get the best score within a 150-line limit and Mystery Mode is the same as Marathon but with random effects.

The previous demo included both PS4 and PSVR versions of the game, so we assume that you will be able to play either way this weekend as well. In addition to the free trial, publisher Enhance says that the digital version of the game will be 25% off, though we don’t know if this deal ends at the same time as the demo.

Tetris Effect is currently available for purchase on PS4, and the same copy of the game can be played in PSVR. The free trial demo will begin tomorrow and last until Monday, Feb. 11.
