According to Yamauchi-san’s tweet, there will be eight new cars coming with the update, which will be released on Jan. 17.

Below you can see the image included in the tweet, teasing the cars with silhouettes as usual and you can try to recognize them.

Of course, it’s unlikely that the new cars will be all that’s coming with the new update. Normally those are accompanied by new GT League events, tweaks, scapes, and possibly even tracks.

The most recent update was released in December, and it did include a new Tokyo Expressway Short Route track. If you want to take a look at it, you can enjoy a dedicated video.

While at the moment we don’t know for sure all the elements that will come with the update, they’re bound to be officially revealed over the next few days. Of course, you’ll be able to read all about it here on Twinfinite as soon as Sony Interactive Entertainment decides to make a full reveal.

Gran Turismo Sport is currently available exclusively for PS4.
