The Diablo III Switch Icon Is No Longer a Hideous Mess

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Diablo III: Eternal Collection is an excellent port of Blizzard’s popular action RPG. I vastly enjoyed my time with it, and it’s a game that I’ll be playing for hours on end during my lengthy travels and shorter commutes. It also had a pretty ugly icon on the Nintendo Switch.

Thankfully, Blizzard has just rolled out an update for the game, which completely changes the icon, as you can see in the image below.

The original icon had a white background with the Diablo icon jutting out like a sore thumb. It wasn’t subtle, it wasn’t pretty to look at, and it positively spoiled the look of my Switch’s home screen. The new icon isn’t anything spectacular, but at least it’s a lot easier on the eyes.

Diablo III: Eternal Collection is now available on Nintendo Switch. The game is also available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
