Super Mario Party

Everyone’s favorite Nintendo party series released its latest entry last month, offering new game modes, characters, allies, and for the first time in the series, an online mini-game multiplayer mode.

Super Mario Party has customary four-player local co-op, with new modes including a River Survival Mode, Toad’s Rec Room where you line up two Nintendo  Switch systems to mimic a tabletop puzzle game, and Mariothon where you can play an online with 8 new mini-games using the Joy Cons games types including free-for-all, 2 vs 2, and even 1 vs 3.

The series-favorite board game mode is back, and Super Mario Party offers the most characters options in the series with 16 available upon starting the game and four more available to unlock as you progress.

Super Mario Party released for Nintendo Switch on Oct. 5.
