Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, level up

Ubisoft Might Be Collaborating With Nintendo on yet Another Project

Nintendo and Ubisoft have been sleeping in the same bed for quite some time now, especially since the release of the Switch this past year. With Nintendo allowing the French publisher to use their iconic IP’s in titles such as Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle and the upcoming Starlink: Battle for Atlas, Ubisoft seems to enjoy collaborating with The Big N and vice versa. And apparently, these aren’t the last crossovers that you’ll be seeing from the two.

Thanks to Twitter user, Brybry (via Comicbook), it seems that Ubisoft has been emailing people and asking them their opinion on who their favorite Nintendo characters were, with the company creating an infographic that includes such as Rosalina, Daisy, Waluigi, and Birdo –you can see the photos from the email below:

Now, we know that Nintendo and Ubisoft enjoy working together and probably have something in the works after the success that Mario + Rabbids had on the Switch; it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if we get an announcement in the next year about their next crossover.

Ubisoft has tons of different IP’s that could work well in the Mario universe. Just look at characters like Rayman who would fit in so well standing next to Mario and friends. Other franchises like Assassin’s Creed might be a far cry for Nintendo’s kid-friendly characters, but you never know. Will we see our favorite mustachioed plumber donning a hood and dagger sometime soon? We shall wait and see.
