As spotted by a user on ResetEra, two former developers of Rainbow Six: Siege has joined Guerrilla Games this 2018 to work on an unannounced game. Chris Lee, who helped with Siege’s online and multiplayer design, is now employed as a principal game designer for Guerrilla Games. The Amsterdam-based studio also recruited Simon Larouche, the game director of Siege, to work as a game director for the secret project. It’s also worth noting that Larouche previously worked as a senior designer for Killzone 2 and helped in creating the layout for its multiplayer maps.

With Guerrilla Games recruiting two developers who worked on a multiplayer-focused game, it’s easy to speculate that Guerrilla Games might be looking to incorporate online elements for its next project.

Guerrilla Games previously spilled the beans that it originally intended to incorporate a two-player co-op for Horizon: Zero Dawn, so it’s possible that the two new talents were hired to make this a reality for the sequel. They could also be working on a new Killzone game, an online-centric PSVR title, or a battle royale game with mech dinosaurs. Who knows?
