Sega announced during their PAX West panel today that Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise will be getting a full-fledged demo on PS4 this Tuesday, Sept. 4. Although it wasn’t announced exactly what the demo will cover, if it’s the same one that hit Japan before the game’s release, it’ll be a sizable chunk of content.
Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise comes from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the same studio responsible for the Yakuza series. Both of the previous Yakuza games, Yakuza 6 and Yakuza Kiwami 2, also received hefty demos that let players go through an entire chapter of the game, as well as a handful of minigames. Lost Paradise combines the gameplay style of the Yakuza series with the over-the-top martial arts action of the Fist of the North Star. At E3 2018 we got some hands-on time with the game, and found it to be a brilliant mix of the two series.
Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise will launch on Oct. 2 for PS4. Make sure you also take a look at the latest gameplay trailer and the reversible cover that’ll come with launch editions of the game. If you’re a fan of the Fist of the North Star anime or manga, here’s also a few details you’ll probably love about Lost Paradise.
