A zombie plague is shambling its way across Hope County, or at least that’s what the producer in the new Far Cry 5: Dead Living Zombies trailer wants you to believe.

Posted by Ubisoft via Twitter, the trailer sets the scene for a thrilling new zombie franchise set in the Guy Marvel cinematic universe. With scenarios ranging from a rip-off of Romeo and Juliet featuring zombies to an unholy union between Return of the Living Dead and Bridges of Madison County, it tasks players with taking on undead hordes, decaying dogs and a freakish amalgamation of every horror movie monster imaginable for a series of thrillers the likes of which no one’s ever seen before (at least, according to the director). Of course, that means it’ll be all the harder to make it out of alive, forcing players to arm themselves with as many armaments and allies as possible.

The full trailer can be viewed down below.

Dead Living Zombies is set to release Aug. 28 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC as both a featured DLC for those who bought the Far Cry 5 season pass and as a stand alone package.
