When the FIFA 19 Beta Ends
FIFA 18 might still be going strong with the Futties promo event still in full swing, but it is time to start getting excited about FIFA 19 because it releases in less than two months. Before the inevitable demo a few weeks before the full release, a closed beta is due to release, allowing players to test the game to get used to the gameplay while giving EA Sports a chance to fix any bugs that arise. Here’s everything you need to know about the FIFA 19 beta, including when it ends.
The FIFA 19 closed beta, which hasn’t been officially detailed by EA Sports, will likely run for between one and two weeks, ending at the towards the end of the third week of August. While we will not know the exact timings until the codes are sent out, it usually begins during the second week of August, usually on the Friday, which would be the 10th in this case. We will update you here as soon as the details are released.
If you’re hoping to get into the beta, you simply need to sign up to receive emails from EA Sports, and hope for the best. That’s the only way to get a FIFA 19 beta code, and there’s nothing you can do to be sure of getting one. There’s no set criteria, EA Sports simply choose from the people who are signed up to their mailing list. You may benefit from you account showing how active you are on FIFA, but you won’t be able to manipulate the system. Just sit back, relax, and keep your fingers crossed.
Update: As of 12pm ET on Aug. 8, EA Sports has begun sending out beta codes. It will go live at 1pm ET on Aug. 10. There’s still no news, however, on when it will end.
