New Jump Force Screenshots Show Off Bleach Characters and Hong Kong Stage

Bleach characters Ichigo, Rukia and the dastardly Aizen have never looked better than in newly reveled screenshots from the upcoming Jump Force game. The game’s publisher, Bandai Namco, recently posted several screenshots of these playable characters and the game’s graphically stunning Hong Kong stage.

Recently confirmed for the game, notable Bleach character Ichigo Kurasaki will be joined by the iconic Soul Reapers Rukia Kuchiki and Sosuke Aizen as playable characters, as the screenshots confirm. Fans of the series that may not have kept up with the now-finished manga after the anime’s cancellation may notice that all three characters appear drastically different from their early designs. Looking at the fact that Ichogo’s true Bankai makes an appearance, Ichigo and the others are modeled after their designs during the Thousand-Year Blood War arc and most likely have powers not shown before the anime’s conclusion. Likely, players will be able to see Rukia’s bone-shattering Bankai in motion and experience Aizen’s overwhelming power even after his defeat from Ichigo’s Final Getsuga Tensho.

The characters are also shown fighting Zoro from One Piece on the newly shown Hong Kong stage. This stage features several pieces of traditional Hong Kong scenery disrupted by a crashed Black Beard Pirate’s ship, giving an even closer look at how these anime worlds will collide.

Jump Forces is set to release in 2019 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
