There are a ton of different events for you to complete as you trot your way across the United States of America. Whether you’re into off-road racing, street racing, or you want to take to the blues of the skies or seas for your racing needs, you’ll find more than enough to keep you busy. Of course, if you’re a newcomer to the racing genre, or just to change difficulty setting, you may be searching through The Crew 2’s settings trying to find the option. Here’s what you need to know to change difficult in The Crew 2.

From the time we’ve spent with the game so far, it doesn’t have an actual difficulty slider that you can adjust your entire experience on. Instead, events have Normal and Hard difficulty settings. You’ll have the option to play on the Hard difficulty setting once you’ve completed that event on Normal first. The only way to change difficulty in The Crew 2 outside of this that we’ve currently found is to simply use the fastest cars you can get.

Outside of this, we simply haven’t seen the option to change difficulty in The Crew 2. Considering how frustrating it can be to be pipped at the finish line for first place, we feel your frustrations.
