This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

During Sony’s E3 press conference, a new Kingdom Hearts 3 trailer was shown off, revealing a brand-new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed world. Square Enix promised that we would be getting multiple trailers for Kingdom Hearts 3 throughout the week of E3, and they sure didn’t lie.

Sora, Donald, and Goofy first met up with Captain Jack Sparrow and his crew back in Kingdom Hearts 2, but this would be the first time that they revisit the Caribbean and all of its hidden treasures and secrets.

You can check out the gorgeous new gameplay trailer below! Doesn’t Jack Sparrow look amazing?

Something else that the trailer shows off is the fact that Sora will be back fighting the heartless underwater this time around. We haven’t seen this side of the Disney world before, and now we can’t wait to see what the islands have in store for us.

During the conference, there was also a tease showing us that all of the Kingdom Hearts compilations (1.5 + 2.5, and 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue) would be coming to PS4 under one gigantic package, including Kingdom Hearts 3.

Kingdom Hearts III, after a slight delay, will be launching for PS4 and Xbox One on Jan. 29, 2018.
