Divinity: Original Sin 2 is an excellent game, and if you missed out on it, you might want to pay more attention this time when it comes to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 this August. Xbox players, however, will get the game a little earlier than others thanks to the Xbox Game Preview. The game will be landing on Xbox Game Preview as of May 16, which is this week.

If you’re a part of the program, you’ll be able to play through the first three hours of Divinity: Original Sin 2, which should give you an abundance of time to see everything it has to offer, or at the very least make some sort of purchasing decision as to whether or not it’s a high fantasy adventure that you want to embark on.

“Our hope is that with the feedback we’ll collect, D:OS 2 – Definitive Edition will become one of the best RPG experiences available across the platforms,” says Larian Studios founder Swen Vincke. “The changes and additions in the Definitive Edition are about 45 pages long, and all owners of Divinity: Original Sin will also benefit from these.”

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition is coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in full this August, so make sure if you like what you see you go ahead and lock in a preorder so you can dig in further to Divinity’s unique brand of role-playing.
