Lumines Remastered’s Switch Debut Pushed Back to June

If you were looking forward to trying the new version of Lumines in the form of Lumines Remastered when it comes to Nintendo Switch, you’ll be waiting a little longer. It was previously announced for a May debut, but now it’s been pushed back to June, as Enhanced Game has just announced.

This remake is based on the HD release of the original PlayStation Portable launch title from 2004. It’s remained something of a cult classic and has had several different iterations since it came onto the scene, and stayed as the top-rated game on the platform for four years running. This’ll be the first time the game has made an appearance on a Nintendo console, though it was previously available via Nintendo DS as Lumines: Puzzle Fusion.

The game will feature over 40 tracks and HD Rumble support on the Switch version as well as rumble on the other platforms it comes to. You can also just turn on “Trance Vibration’ if you’d like to sync up multiple controllers at once to “feel the music.” This should make for a great new way to experience the unique rhythm-based puzzle game, especially if you’ve never played it before. It’s certainly going to look better this time around, and it’ll be far more accessible to players who just didn’t have a chance to try it out during previous console generations.

The game will also becoming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
