Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy on the PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch feels like a dream come true. Gamers who own any modern gaming console or computer will soon be able to play this HD remaster masterpiece. While nobody owns a time machine that can make the release date of June 10th come sooner, at least we can pre-order the game starting today.
Gamers who are itching to download Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy as soon as it launches can pre-purchase the game for $39.99 on Steam and the Microsoft Store. Sadly, the game isn’t available for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop just yet.
While the Xbox One version’s store page promises features such as HDR10, Xbox One X Enhanced, and 4K Ultra HD capabilities, it lists the approximate download size as 101.5 MB, a far cry from the 23.32 GB listed on the game’s PlayStation Store page. Moreover, the Steam page lists the minimum system requirements, which are fairly lax. Gamers will need at least the following to run the game:
- Windows 7 OS
- Intel Core i5-750 @ 2.67GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 965 @ 3.4GHz processor
- 8 GB of RAM
- Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB or AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB graphics card
We have not heard any news on the game’s recommended system requirements or if the PC version will come with extra options such as NVIDIA GameWorks or mod support. Also, while the store pages do not list any DLC, it is a foregone conclusion the Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch versions will let players who want an extra challenge buy the Stormy Ascent level.
We will continue to cover news on the ports of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy as the games approach its release date. Since the N. Sane Trilogy was developed by Vicarious Visions, the studio responsible for the PC version of Destiny 2 and all the versions of Skylanders: SuperChargers, we can probably expect well-optimized versions of the game on all platforms.
