A New Persona 5: The Animation Smartphone App Is in the Works

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Persona 5, also known as one of the most stylish games to have ever existed, is getting its own animated series in the form of Persona 5: The Animation. But there’s a lot more to it than that. It looks like there’s a new smartphone app launching soon, with new information about the potential upcoming software coming Feb. 16.

The official Persona 5: The Animation Twitter account released some preliminary information, with a tweet stating that “We will receive new information for an app on February 16, Phantom Thieves of the Heart.” There isn’t a lot to go on there, but it’s possible something awesome could indeed come of this announcement. A new Persona-themed mobile game could be coming, or maybe something simple, like a themed messaging app like that of what we’ve seen in the game.

Anything would probably be eaten up by the tons of Persona fans around the world, so we’ll just be sitting here with bated breath looking forward to whatever it may end up being. Hopefully we’ll have a little more info tomorrow. Anything related to Persona at this point, including Persona 6 confirmation and some tiny sliver of detail, would be appreciated. We can’t get enough of it, you know.
