Watch Ryu Hadouken a Monster in This New Footage of the Monster Hunter: World and Street Fighter Collab

Just not too long ago, Capcom announced that Ryu and Sakura from Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition would be coming to Monster Hunter: World as part of a free content download – available early for PS4 players who have a save file for Street Fighter V. If you own Monster Hunter: World on Xbox One or just have never played Street Fighter V, don’t worry, the content drop will be in rotation at a later time that has not been announced yet.

But to keep your interest piqued, Capcom has showed off some new gameplay footage of the collaboration in action during a Monster Hunter: World live stream earlier today. The footage goes off the rails and shows Ryu in all of his glory, doing all kinds of moves like his signature Hadouken and Shoryuken. Who needs a sword when you have fists of pure steel? Am I right? You can get yourself excited for the content drop by checking out the footage below and going to the 2:50 mark:

If you would like to read about on how exactly to get the armor for Ryu and Sakura, you can also head over to the Capcom Unity blog where they go more in-depth on the DLC.

Monster Hunter: World is out now for PS4 and Xbox One with a PC release coming later this year.
