Queen Wilhelmina will lead The Netherlands in Civilization 6’s upcoming Rise and Fall expansion, Firaxis announced. Wilhelmina is best known for leading the country at a young age and through both World Wars.
The Netherlands’ unique unit is De Zeven Provincien, a warship that receives extra range, combat damage and an additional bonus when attacking defensible city districts. The Dutch’s unique tile improvement is the Polder, which can transform water tiles with adjacent coastline into areas with increased production, food and housing.
Grote Rivieren, the unique civ ability, provides major adjacent bonuses to campuses, theater squares and industrial zones when built next to rivers. Wilhelmina’s special leader ability is called Radio Oranje. The ability provides +1 identity for trades routes to your own cities, while trade routes to foreign cities provide +1 culture.
