Shadow of the Colossus’ Paris Games Week Trailer Pits Wander Against Phalanx

Let the battle commence.

The Shadow of the Colossus remake for PS4 got a fresh new trailer today during Sony’s Paris Games Week 2017 showcase, which saw Wander face off against the colossi known as Phalanx.

The trailer gave fans a quick glimpse of Phalanx as it emerged out of the sands of the desert, before Wander gave chase on the back of Aguro. The game has certainly come a long way since the PS4, with individual hairs visible on the back of the Phalanx, as Wander scaled the wings and sides of the colossi. Shadow of the Colossus is being remastered for the PS4 by Bluepoint Studios. It’s due to release exclusively on the PS4 on Feb. 6, 2018.
