Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle Is Getting a Season Pass, Includes Story Expansion

Today, it was revealed that Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle will be getting a Season Pass containing three separate pieces of DLC.

The three DLC drops will be spread out between Kingdom Battle’s release next week, and sometime down the line in 2018. The first drop of DLC will contain eight bonus steampunk weapons and, as previously mentioned, will be available on the Aug. 29, the game’s release date.

The second chunk of DLC will arrive sometime in Autumn and will add “new solo and co-op challenge maps.” The specifics of which have yet to be revealed.

Finally, and most notably, Kingdom Battle’s final piece of DLC included in the Season Pass will be an expansion of the game’s story. Once again, details have yet to be announced by Nintendo.

If you want to pick up Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle’s Season Pass, you’ll be able to buy it for $19.99 from the Nintendo eShop on release day.

Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch on Aug. 29.
