Destiny 2

To the Surprise of Absolutely No One, Destiny 2’s Beta Servers are at Maximum Capacity

Surprise surprise.
This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

The Destiny 2 beta is officially live, and it may shock you to know that the minute the servers went up, players queued up for it, and they quickly reached maximum capacity. If you’re not getting the ‘termite’ error, chances are you’re in line, waiting for the servers to clear up a little before you can actually get into the game. You’re likely seeing a screen similar to the one below.

Destiny 2 Beta capacity

At the moment, there’s no workaround for this issue except to wait. We don’t advise quitting the game and restarting again to see if you can jump the queue, as your position will likely be reset. On the other hand, if you’re getting a ‘termite’ or data configuration error, try rebooting the game to see if that fixes your issues.

The beta will run from today till July 23.

Destiny 2 is set to be released for PS4 and Xbox One on September 6, and on PC in October.
