Dragon Ball FighterZ has added on two more playable characters, with the announcement of Krillin and Piccolo. The two fan-favorite characters were revealed via the newest issue of V-Jump magazine, which you can see in a scan down below.
The magazine also shares a few details on the characters, like how Krillin’s Destructo Disc can be further powered up by holding down a button and it’ll be unblockable. It also looks like similarly to the online mode in Guilty Gear Xrd, you’ll be able to control chibi characters online and even battle them against other players. The roster for Dragon Ball FighterZ now sits at 9 characters with Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Trunks, Frieza, Cell and Majin Buu.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is expected to launch sometime in early 2018 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. A closed beta will take place this Summer though. Make sure to take a look at our hands-on impressions of the game from E3.
