Red Dead Redemption 2 Lookalike Wild West Online Shows Off New Footage

Head 'em up! Move 'em on!

When PC western title Wild West Online made its debut on the internet, some of us took it for a possible tease from Rockstar for Red Dead Redemption 2. Obviously that wasn’t the case, and Wild West Online is a brand new online multiplayer game with some pretty sharp environments and awesome things to do with friends in the old west. Seriously, no wonder it passed for what we thought was a Rockstar game.

The latest trailer shows off some early footage of the title, which should obviously be taken with a grain of salt as things could certainly change between now and launch. But what’s here is pretty awesome. If you can’t see yourself living it up Wild West style in this game’s world, you just don’t have any appreciation for the way things used to be badk in the days of cowboys and all.

If you are digging it though, you can preorder the game right now for access to the closed alpha and beta. If you preorder, you also get access to your horse, saddle and weapons. The offer runs through July 20, so if you’re waiting on that paycheck to come through, you’ve still got plenty of time. Wild West Online will be there waiting for you if you so choose.
