The news was shared by a post over on PlayStation Blog from the game’s designer, Ron Gilbert. For those unfamiliar with Thimbleweed Park, the game is a 2D point and click adventure games that draws inspiration from Stephen King, the X-Files, and Twin Peaks to deliver a really weird and wonderful adventure.

You’re going to go from investigating a dead body found just outside of Thimbleweed Park to exploring an abandoned Pillow Factory with a clown called Ransome and a dead pillow salesman named Franklin. You can check out the PS4 announcement trailer and the game’s official description below.

In Thimbleweed Park, a dead body is the least of your problems. Switch between five playable characters to uncover the surreal secrets of this strange town in a modern mystery adventure game from the creators of Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion. The deeper you go, the weirder it gets.

Thimbleweed Park initially released back in March on Xbox One and PC, and will now come to the PS4 on August 22.
