To those of you who may be new to Overwatch, thanks to the free to play weekend that just passed, EXP, of course, means leveling up faster. But what happens when you gain more EXP? Yep, you get to open more loot boxes. And right now all of those loot boxes have a chance of holding special, limited time anniversary items. So if you are looking to buy some of those exclusive skins, dance emotes and the like, hold off for a bit and see if you get lucky just as the event is coming to an end. Especially those skins that will net you 3,000 worth of in-game currency. Yikes.

It’s also a perfect time to go into casual or arcade matches and hone your skills as a new competitive season for Overwatch gets underway. Season 5 just started in the beginning of June, so buckle up, grab a bud or two, and find a character that will pull you through another season of all-out, competitive combat.

If you don’t have Overwatch, unfortunately, it is no longer on sale, but you can pick it up on PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4 and use this next weekend as the perfect opportunity to grind thanks to that sweet, sweet double EXP.

Will you be on the Overwatch EXP grind this weekend? We may run into each other if you are. After all, it’s the best way to try and get those skins and spare your wallet.
