Horizon Zero Dawn is out tomorrow in North America and PlayStation gamers everywhere are getting their bows ready in order to hunt down mechanical dinosaurs. If you’ve pre-ordered a digital copy of Horizon Zero Dawn on the PlayStation Store then you’ll be interested to know that you can now preload the game.
Preloading a game means you can download the title before it is officially released, but you can’t play it until then. This means that gamers can jump straight into their game as soon as it’s released, rather than having to sit around waiting for it to download.
As Gearnuke has also reported, Horizon Zero Dawn’s file size comes in at a hefty 39.485 GB. It would certainly be prudent to preload the game as soon as possible.
Horizon Zero Dawn will be available to play tonight at 9 PM PT. Pre-ordering it from the PlayStation Store also gets buyers a dynamic theme and the Nora Machine-Trapper Pack which includes weapon mods and crafting resources.
Those of you outside North America will have to wait a little longer to begin your adventure with Aloy. The game will be released on March 1 in Europe and March 2 in Japan. Reviews for the game have been very positive and it looks like this is yet another great exclusive for Sony. Twinfinite gave the game a 5/5.
