Persona 5 Gets 11 Minutes of English Gameplay Footage Showing Off Dungeons and Combat

Demon negotiations aplenty.

Persona 5 isn’t too far off from its English release now, and Gamespot has gone up with 11 minutes of new gameplay footage from the English version of the game. The footage shown takes place about two hours into the game, so there are a few minor story spoilers about the dungeon the Phantom Thieves are exploring. If you’re trying to avoid all story spoilers, no matter how big or small, don’t watch this one.

As we already know, Persona 5’s dungeons will feature a detection meter on the top left corner of the screen, and it’ll allow players to know when they’re in danger of being caught and ambushed by the Shadows. Players will be able to sneak around the dungeons and spring surprise attacks on their enemies as well. Along with that, demon negotiation is also back in this entry, and players will get to ask the Shadows for money, items, or even a chance to recruit them to their party.

Persona 5 is set to be released for the PS4 and PS3 on April 4 in North America and Europe.
