Microsoft today teased that Xbox fans should look forward to “exciting enhancements” coming to Xbox Live this year.

The teaser came as part of a post on its official news site reflecting on the “milestone year” that Xbox had in 2016, as well as discussing the “exceptional year ahead for gamers.”

Following the long list of exciting milestones that the company reached in 2016, such as the launch of the Play Anywhere program, and excellent launches for Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4, the post took a moment to discuss what fans could expect in 2017.

Alongside the release of the powerhouse Project Scorpio later in the year, 2017 will apparently also “bring a number of exciting enhancements to Xbox Live.” The post goes on to discuss the “terrific portfolio of new games with Xbox Live support on Xbox One, Windows 10 or both this spring.”

Unfortunately, no other details were shared with regards to what these Xbox Live enhancements may be just yet. We’ll be sure to let you know when Microsoft finally does let us in on their plans for the online service in 2017, though.
