With the Cities: Skylines Natural Disasters expansion, you’ll have to plan for and react to several new natural disasters including meteor storms, towering infernos, and more. In order to counteract these new threats you’ll need to build a variety of new countermeasures, early warning systems, and disaster responses such as helicopters. Or don’t and watch your city get destroyed, your choice.

You’ll also be able to warn your citizens ahead of time about natural disasters with the expansion’s new broadcast network. Besides warning citizens, you’ll also be able to use the broadcasting system to listen to brand new, in-game music.

Alongside the natural disasters, the Cities: Skylines Natural Disasters expansion will introduce a new Scenario Mode where you’ll be able to create everything from a custom start city, to the win conditions, time limits, and more. You’ll also be able to share and download other majors scenarios via the Steam workshop.

Cities: Skyline Natural Disasters will be released for Windows, Mac and Linux this Winter.
