Last week, Atlus teased seven new announcements for their Persona 5 Premium Event streaming today over a NicoNico broadcast. The company has been showing a wealth of new footage over the stream before the event itself begins.

Most of the nearly 18 minutes of video shows Persona 5’s protagonist engaging in day-to-day activities around the city. He watches TV with his freinds, plays a fishing mini game, works at a cafe, goes shopping, goes on a movie date with Futabu Sakura another character in the game and more. Similar to past Persona games, engaging in these activities increases the protagonists skills and abilities.

Not only do we get a look at the daily activities of P5, but the footage also gives a glimpse at some action from the battle system. Things look as slick in battles as everything else we’ve seen from the game, including the “all out attack” from the series, and even a section that has our hero conversing with a Persona in order to obtain it.

DualShockers captured all of the footage from the stream and uploaded it into a YouTube playlist, which you can see below.

Persona 5 launches February 14 in the U.S. for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. The game launches in Japan prior to that on September 15. A European release is also planned via publisher Deep Silver, although no date has been confirmed.

What do you think of Persona 5’s new footage of everyday activities? What do you hope the seven announcements Atlus makes today are? Let us know what you think in the comments.
