Driveclub Is Going to Get More Difficult Next Month

The Game Director for Driveclub Paul Rustchynsky has took to Twitter to tell fans about a new gaming option that will make the game more difficult.

The new gameplay option is called Hardcore. It will turn off assists like traction control, and steering control, making the challenge of keeping your car on the track while racing as fast as possible even higher. It will be added to the game next month, although a specific date was not mentioned by the developer.

To give you an idea of what the change looks like, Rustchynsky has uploaded a video showcasing a test of the mode with the Ferrari FXX K, which you can watch below.

Driveclub had multiple issues when it released in October 2014, with the online element of the game being the main problem. The game has bounced back since then, with constant free updates to the game for everyone, as well as extra content for the players that previously purchased the season pass. A standalone expansion called Driveclub Bikes released last October.
