Get Free In-Game Holiday Gifts in Select NetherRealm Games

Season gifts (and decapitations) from NetherRealm.

NetherRealm has announced that from today players can get free in-game holiday gifts when they log into Mortal Kombat X, Injustice: Gods Among Us and WWE Immortals.

The news was announced via email to gamers who subscribed to get news about Injustice: Gods Among Us and while the email doesn’t reveal what these rewards are, the email did reveal that Mortal Kombat X players will get better rewards if they log in on Christmas day and New Year’s Day, and that the Injustice gifts will run till Jan 1. In the case of WWE Immortals, players can log on now to get free Immortal credits and take on the Big Red Monster Kane in the newest challenge mode.

Speaking of NetherRealm, earlier today they revealed the new Christmas Premier Tower for Mortal Kombat X on Twitter. All of the tower’s matches take place on the Dead Woods map, with added match gimmicks to keep players on their toes. These gimmicks including snow flakes which freeze whoever they hit and red and green coloured lasers that damage whatever they touch.
