Gone Home has received a new console edition trailer which showcases the game’s writer and designer, Steve Gaynor of The Fullbright Company, displaying his excitement for the game’s debut on PlayStation 4 & Xbox One next month.
Gone Home is a first-person exploration game that isolates players in a house filled with both secrets and shocking discoveries. You’ll be in the shoes of the eldest daughter of the Greenbriar family as she returns home after a year abroad to discover that her family is nowhere to be found. You’ll be given full access to explore the ins-and-outs of the house, open drawers, read private letters, search rooms, and hopefully dig deep enough to discover the mysteries to be found.
The game was met with an astounding amount of critical acclaim when it launched on PC in August of 2013. The console versions, which will include a 90-minute behind-the-scenes developer commentary, can be yours to download on January 12th for PlayStation 4 owners & on January 13th for those who want to play it on Xbox One.
