You Can Unlock Nintendo Outfits in Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water

Playing dress-up, Nintendo style.

Following in the footsteps of other third party Wii U games like Bayonetta and Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Nintendo has now revealed that Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water will feature unlockable outfits based on iconic characters. In a new trailer they show off outfits for both Zero Suit Samus and Princess Zelda.

The Samus outfit looks pretty out of place in all its baby blue glory, but the subdued tones of Zelda’s dress feel strangely right at home. Either way, little extra like this are always fun and welcome. Whether the more risque outfits from the Japanese release are included in the western version remains to be seen.

Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water launches exclusively for the Wii U Oct. 22 in North America, and Oct. 30 in Europe.
