Although many fans have tuned in for Fortnite’s numerous Live Events, these celebrations have generally become a thing of the past, as there haven’t been any since the New Year’s extravaganza. However, since there’s been a lot of rumors and leaks surrounding the next phase, some wonder if Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 will have a Live Event.
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 5 Live Event, Explained
Epic Games will finally be hosting a new Live Event for Fortnite on Dec. 2, 2023, at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. PT/7 p.m. GMT. It will be known as the “Big Bang” with a special surprise toward the end.
While there aren’t too many details on what the new Fortnite Live Event will include, fans continue to decipher the key art used for The Big Bang. For instance, some have noticed the appearance of the adorable rubber duck, while others have spotted the classic Supply Llamas.
The Fortnite official website has also mentioned that The Big Bang “marks a new beginning for Fortnite,” so it could change everything we know about the game with its secretive reveal.
The Live Event will be available in the Battle Royale tile in Discover 30 minutes before it kicks off. That way, you can get an early start and prepare yourself with any of your character decals, where up to four players can join in on the fun with you. But if you happen to be busy during the event, you may still have a chance to tune in via the Fornite cloud streaming.
Like previous Fornite Live Events, a designated downtime will occur on Dec. 2 at 12 p.m. ET, so bear that in mind when joining in.
