First officially announced last February, the show promises to be a fast-paced, high-octane adventure where Sonic will travel through a new multiverse in the hopes of saving his friends. Sonic Prime Netflix Release Date

Sonic Prime will premiere on Netflix on Dec. 15, just over a month after another highly anticipated piece of Sonic media, the new game Sonic Frontiers. This release date was officially announced today by Netflix, alongside the release of some new character posters for Sonic, Knuckles, Shadow, Amy, Rogue, Big the Cat and Eggman.

The show is set to premiere exclusively on Netflix, with no other streaming service releases. Its release on Netflix marks the first time a Sonic the Hedgehog series will make its debut on a streaming service. It’s already been an exciting year for Sonic, and with the 24-episode season of this show set to round out the year, fans should be more than excited to take another trip with the Blue Blur.
