How to Collect Planetary Coins in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope

Planetary Coins are an in game currency that is specific to the planet you are on. That’s right, each planet has their own Planetary Coin that can only be used on that planet for items, weapon skins, and bits of lore available in that shop. There are no microtransactions in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope so all Planetary Coins can be earned without the need to spend money.

You can earn Planetary Coins by completing side quests on the planet or by finding them through exploration on the planet. The side quests can range from performing a task in the overworld to completing a battle that is requested by one of the local Rabbids. The quests can range in difficulty but every planet has a set number of coins that will allow you to buy all the items that require them in the shop.

As far as exploration goes, each planet is home to plenty of secrets for players willing to look for them. If you enjoy exploring the planets and solving little puzzles to unlock more little goodies, then you are sure to stumble across some Planetary Coins along the way.

What Can Planetary Coins Buy in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope?

Planetary Coins are going to be very important for players looking to gain 100% completion in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Of course, for other players, there are certain items that they can prioritize that’ll provide far more benefits for their gameplay.

Planetary Keys and Star Potions are a must buy and should be prioritized. Each planet has a unique Planetary Key that gives players access to a special mission where they can recruit a Spark.

These keys are often the most expensive item in the shop and it’s because the reward for using it is the most valuable in the game, a new Spark.

Star Potions are the cheapest item costing only one Planetary Coin each and there are two available to buy on every planet as well.

These potions can level up a Spark immediately upon use so they can really help with some of the more expensive upgrades. That said, it’s better not use Star Potions to grow a Spark to level one or two because those are cheap upgrades when using Star Bits.

Finally, you can also buy memories that provide additional lore for each planet or weapon skins that change the look of your character’s main weapons.

The lore is quite delightful to read but it is mostly used to enhance the story if that interests you. Likewise, the weapon skins do not upgrade your weapons and are purely aesthetic.

That is how to get Planetary Coins in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope and everything you can spend them on while playing the game. For more guides, reviews, and features on the game, keep it locked to Twinfinite.
