When Did the PS4 Come Out?
Sony’s PlayStation 4 came out on Nov. 15, 2013, following the massive success of its predecessor, the PS3. During its initial debut, the PS4 sold over one million units in 24 hours, making the system one of the fastest-selling game consoles.
The PS4 day one launch also featured an exciting lineup of popular games, such as Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and Angry Birds: Star Wars. Since then, more hit major titles have increased the system’s popularity, along with some new equipment and upgraded PlayStation subscriptions.
