Thor’s companions and family members have met their demise in countless films of the franchise. Is Lady Sif Dead?
During the premiere of Thor: Love and Thunder, Jamie Alexander states that she will be in the latest film, which presumably confirms that Lady Sif is not dead. When asked about her training regimen for this role, the actress says, “I didn’t have to train, and you’ll see why.” So, this could hint at the character’s possible fate in this upcoming movie, and it might not end well for her.

Even if Lady Sif was not present in Ragnarok, she was still in other shows based in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, such as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Loki.
For example, in Episode 4 of Loki, we see her punishing the God of Mischief in a time loop of a previous memory. This scene directly references Norse mythology tales where the trickster cut off a part of Sif’s hair. As for the character’s fate after Infinity War, The Russo brothers revealed that she didn’t survive the sinister snap of Thanos in an interview with Huffington Post, indicating that she was at least gone for five years.
What she does afterward is unknown, and Thor: Love and Thunder will undoubtedly answer this question now that she will be in this latest film.
