Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes Unit Leveling Guide
Your units will gain experience naturally by fighting on the battlefield, but having only this source of experience will see you leveling them up very slowly. There are a few methods you can use to quickly level up units in Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes:
- Take on All Battles in Each Region to Maximize Experience Earned
- Take on Timed Side Quest Stages
- Use the Training Instructor to Immediately Level Up Units for Gold
Complete All Battles in Every Region
This is a relatively straightforward point to make, but if you’re struggling to complete the main chapter battle in a region, go ahead and clear all of the other battles on the map if you haven’t already.
The more battles you complete, the more experience your units are going to earn.
Timed Side Quest Stages
Don’t just stick to the normal battles, though. Every once in a while, you’ll see timed side quest stages pop-up where you’ll need to get to the battle before the timer expires.
Unsurprisingly, these are also a handy extra source of experience to level up units that you might have overlooked. Time limits aren’t always fun, but with a focus on swiftly slicing through enemies, you can bolster your experience fairly easily with these.
They’re also a great source of Gold and Bullions, too, which can then be used at the Training Instructor for immediately level up units.
Using the Training Instructor to Level Up Units
As well as this, make sure that you’re talking to the Training Instructor at your base camp. Here, you can choose the ‘Level Up’ option and pay Gold to immediately increase a unit’s level.
There are a couple of limitations to this though. Firstly, you can only increase a unit’s level to the level of your current strongest unit. So if your highest leveled unit is 5, you can’t use the Training Instructor to level up any of your units any higher than this.
Second, the amount of Gold required to level up a unit also increases as the level goes up, so you’ll need to make sure you’re completing all of the battles in each region before clearing the main chapter battle, and selling those Bullions you get as rewards to fund your unit leveling.
