Welcome to week eight of the Resistance questline. This time around we will be diving into a single location and destroying some things. Here’s where to destroy trash around Sanctuary in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2.
How to Establish Device Uplink
As this is week eight you are no doubt used to the pattern of these quests. Before getting to the meat of the quest, we first will have to “Establish Device Uplink near The Daily Bugle or The Joneses.” Here is a map of locations to finish this objective.
We went to the spot south of The Joneses due to the low number of people who head in that direction. Though, currently, it is near a Stormtrooper outpost, so that might not be the case for you.
You will find the hologram audio log at the edge of this pond. Touching it will give you your proper objective for the quest.
Where To Destroy Trash in Sanctuary
With the hologram audio log touched, your objective becomes “Destroy trash laying around Sanctuary.”
You will need to find eight pieces of trash in total. You don’t have to follow the order we went, but it helps, as some of the objective markers on the mini-map are confusing.

This will likely be the first piece you see if you head into Sanctuary at the southern marker.

From the last piece of trash, head to your left, to the building, and go around the right side from the entrance. None of these pieces of trash are inside a building.

The next piece of trash will be around the side of that same building as the last one.

Near the last piece, you’ll find these rocks and a plant that is hiding this trash.

South of the rocks will be a small batch of crops and you’ll find the trash on the other side of the fence.

Following that same fence will lead you to the next piece that is near these containers.

As the last one was the last nearby piece in the area, you’ll want to head east. You’ll find the next piece under this large tree.

The final piece of trash is further east from the tree, next to this building and fence.
