How Long Is Trek to Yomi?

It took us about 5-6 hours to reach the end of Trek to Yomi on ‘Normal’ difficulty. During this playthrough, we ventured off the main path in each of the levels in order to collect health and stamina upgrades, ammo refills for ranged weapons, as well as collectibles. We died a few times along the way and so were sent back to the last checkpoint we’d interacted with.

When playing through a second time — in order to check out another of the game’s three ‘endings’ — on ‘Easy’ difficulty, we were able to play through the game start-to-finish in about two and a half hours. This involved us skipping some of the cutscenes, sprinting through levels, and ignoring some collectibles. We still managed to grab a fair few along the way, though.

As there are three different ‘endings’ and major choices players can make throughout the game, we’d estimate you could see everything Trek to Yomi has to offer in an absolute max of 12 hours, involving three playthroughs.

How Many Chapters Are There in Trek to Yomi?

There are seven chapters in total, with players unlocking a achievement/trophy for completing each one. The only exception to this is the seventh and final chapter which, upon completion, players will unlock an achievement/ trophy for beating the game.

These chapters do vary in length. The first couple are significantly shorter than the last two, which are significantly longer. The further into the game you get, the more difficult the game gets, too, so keep this in mind.

That’s everything you need to know on how long Trek to Yomi is and how many chapters there are. For more on the game, check out the links below.
