How to Fix Halo Infinite Battle Pass Items Not Unlocking

Halo Infinite Season 2 has arrived and it’s brought with it a new Battle Pass jam-packed full of new cosmetic items and Credits for players to earn. However, some players appear to be having issues with Halo Infinite Battle Pass items not unlocking and appearing in their ‘Customization‘ options. Here’s everything you need to know on fixing the issue.

First off, make sure that the cosmetic items you should have unlocked have definitely not appeared in your ‘Customization’ options. Things like armor pieces are only available for specific armor types/ cores, so make sure you’ve got the right one. Other cosmetic items like banners or emblems should appear within their respective sections, too.

How to Fix Battle Pass Items Not Unlocking Errors

First things first, close Halo Infinite entirely. This means returning to the dashboard on your Xbox, pressing the menu button on the game’s tile and then selecting the ‘Close Application’ option.

Next, try reloading the game and logging back into the servers. Sometimes, if you’ve had the game running in the background for a while, there can be some bugs that seemingly prevent you from unlocking Battle Pass items, but it’s actually just a glitch on the front-end, and the items are safely unlocked. Rebooting the game can clear out any of these lingering issues, and should result in the items appearing in your ‘Customization’ tab or Armor Hall.

If this doesn’t work, you can always try rebooting your console/ PC entirely. To do this on your Xbox, press and hold the Xbox button on the front of the console for 15 seconds. This will clear the console’s cache, which can sometimes cause strange issues such as Battle Pass items not unlocking properly in Halo Infinite.

Should neither of these options fix your problem, your final option should be reaching out to the Support team via Halo Waypoint. If the reward is completely locked despite you reaching the respective level on the Battle Pass, the team there should be able to help resolve the issue for you.
