There are a number of incredibly rare cosmetic options you can unlock in Halo Infinite. Of course, obtaining them is a little trickier than your average unlockable. In this guide, we’ll explain everything you need to know on getting the Halo Infinite Ice Unicorn emblem.
What Is Ice Unicorn?
Ice Unicorn is referring to the Ice Unicorn emblem. This is a Legendary rarity emblem that can’t be unlocked by leveling up your Battle Pass or from finding a Mjolnir Locker in the campaign.

Getting the Ice Unicorn Emblem in Halo Infinite
To get the Ice Unicorn emblem, you must play a game with a member of the development team from 343 Industries.
To do this, you’ll need to try matchmaking during one of their Halo Infinite Community Playdates. These have taken place once every month since the game’s multiplayer went live, though the date within the month has changed every time so far.
The next Halo Infinite Community playdate will take place today, Jan. 21, 2022 at 11:00am PT/ 2:00pm ET/ 7:00pm GMT. The date for this was shared via the scheduled livesteam over on the official Halo YouTube channel.
Of course, there’s no way to guarantee that you’ll end up in a game with the 343 developers, even if you matchmake while the community playdate is taking place. Our best advice is to watch the livestream while you’re playing Infinite’s multiplayer, and start matchmaking in the same game mode they’re matchmaking in when they do.
With a bit of luck, you’ll be matched up with them. Upon finishing the match, you’ll find you’ll have the Ice Unicorn emblem unlocked, and can be equipped on your Spartan armor by heading to the Customization screen.
