The game serves as an homage to old-school tactical RPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre, and also features a branching narrative where you can choose different dialogue options that will shape how the story unfolds. Triangle Strategy Kudos Explained
Not to be confused with coin, which is the main currency of the game, Kudos is a separate currency that can be used to purchase special items like additional notes and lore tidbits, along with Quietus points and skills. How to Get Kudos
Essentially, by performing special moves and maneuvers in combat, you can earn Kudos in Triangle Strategy. Whenever you’re in battle, you’ll occasionally see a pop-up on the right side of the screen whenever you do something outstanding.
For instance, if Geela has the Sanctuary ability unlocked and you’re able to heal three units at once with it, the game will show a pop-up indicating that you’ve successfully healed three units simultaneously. Similarly, being able to damage three enemy units in a single turn with an ability (Frederica’s Scorch or Serenoa’s Sweep Attack will work here) will also give you a shoutout.
The more of these maneuvers you pull off in combat, the more Kudos you’ll be awarded with at the end of the battle, and they’ll be indicated on the battle results screen.
How to Use Them
As mentioned before, Kudos are used to purchase special items in Triangle Strategy. Head back to your Encampment, and speak with Archibald, who runs the Sundry Shop.
From here, you’ll be able to purchase a variety of items like new Quietus skills, and even increase your maximum amount of QP. More importantly, you’ll also be able to purchase Medals of Bravery every now and then, which is a key item required to promote your units to the next advanced class.
