If you have been a fan of Amazon Games’ New World, then you know that a new weapon will be coming later this month. Not only are we getting to see the conclusion of the story of Isabella, but perhaps more importantly, the Blunderbuss is coming to New World. And in a new trailer, we get a closer look at what this weapon can bring to the table.
The Blunderbuss is positioned as a potent close-to-mid range weapon that provides high mobility as well. With two distinct playstyles, players can choose how they want to approach any given situation with some versatility.
The Containment tree is all about giving yourself the crowd control you need to take advantage of the battlefield. Net Shot helps to slow down enemies, while Claw Shot closes the distance with any unfortunate soul that gets caught, which then makes it the perfect time to unleash Azoth Shaprnel Blast to deal big damage.
On the other hand, the Chaos tree brings excellent short-to-medium range area of effect attacks that can overcome the obstacles of cover as well. Splitting Grenades are all about causing damage and mayhem, the Mortar Charge gives you more verticality and speed when it comes to an explosive, and Blast Shot will make anyone coming within melee range think twice about approaching you again.
For those excited about the Blunderbuss in New World, you will be glad to know that it will have its own legendary weapon quest series as well.
